Barbaross Holding was founded in 1992 by Mr. Myumyun Ahmed — a man whose life and professional path are deeply connected with tobacco.
Born and raised among tobacco fields, Mr. Ahmed built his experience from the earliest stages of production — from seedling cultivation and planting, through agricultural processing, harvesting and curing, to the processing of dried tobacco leaves.
With more than 50 years of practical experience in the sector, he laid the foundations of a company that today works with established tobacco varieties and maintains a stable presence on the international market.

Infrastructure Built for a Sustainable Process
Barbaross Holding has its own base in the “Letishteto” area, within the land of the village of Gradina, Parvomay Municipality, with production, storage, utility and service buildings. The base includes a tobacco handling workshop and storage area, a tobacco stripping workshop, sheds, a checkpoint, a weighing scale and accommodation for seasonal workers.
This infrastructure supports the organization of the processes related to receiving, storing, processing and preparing tobacco for trade.
